May 5-11 Dino Days in Dixie
| Dino Days in Dixie is celebrated each year in recognition of the discovery of the remarkable tracksite at Johnson Farm and the other paleontological resources of the St. George area. During the week, there will be free handouts, coloring pages, mazes, crossword puzzles, etc., as well as crafts and games on Saturday. The Grand Opening will introduce a new reconstruction of a dinosaur that made many of the tracks found at the site, as well as a new Special Display featuring pterosaur replicas. Events also being coordinated with the St. George branch library and the Redrock Writers Guild and Utah State Poetry Society-Dixie Chapter. May 4th St George Ironman
Ironman 70.3 St. George is the new location for the US Pro Championship, with 75 Age Group slots for the 2013 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
This years event, which is SOLD OUT, will have 80 participating pros and over 2500 registered athletes.
Activities will be ongoing in Town Square both Thurs. and Friday between the hours of 10:00am-7:00pm.
Friday evening in Town Square there will be a Kids Fun Run at 7pm. So make sure to get your future American Athlete registered to participate!
Saturday morning Washington City will offer a free pancake breakfast from 8am-10am at the corner of Main Street and Bueno Vista Blvd.

Thurs: May 2-11am until 7pm
Friday: May 3-10am until 6pm
THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY ATHLETE CHECK-IN!!
There are 2 transitions for this event:
1.Bike and run gear bag will be issued at Athlete Check-In. Bikes and bike gear check-in will be on Friday from 2pm to 7pm. There will be an optional Run Gear Check-in Fri. 2pm-7pm in T2.
2.T1 opens at 5am on race morning and will close at 6:45am. T2 will open at 4:30am and close at 5:30am. Shuttle buses will leave T2 4:30-5:30.
Parking will be available at the 50 East Tabernacle Street garage or on surface streets.
The event starts Sat. morning, May4th at 7:00am at Sand Hollow State Park with the swim race, which continues onto Snow Canyon-Town Square-Red Hills Parkway-back to the Town Square for the remaining bike/race run.
Cheers and Encouragement are always welcomed, so find a spot, and come on out to help these Athletes along the course to the finish line!
