May 20th, 2012 marks the first of three notable solar events to occur in 2012. Our Southern Utah area will be included in the visible area of the 1st solar eclipse to be seen from the United States in 18 years, and the first to be seen from earth in 2 years!
The three notable solar events of 2012 include the Annular Solar Eclipse on May 20th, a transit of Venus on June 6th, 2012, and a total Solar Eclipse on November 13th, 2012. St. George Municipal Airport will be host to the United States Navy Blue Angels in "Thunder Over Utah Air Show" on March 17th and 18th, 2012.
